I like this song very much
Especially about Jesus as the keeper of my heart

Dear Lord, You know how prone I am to wander away.
Keep me close to You.
Keep my heart beating for You.

"YOU ALONE I PRAISE"

My righteousness
My holiness
Emmanuel, living in me
Merciful King, to You I sing
Matchless in worth
You're awesome indeed

Chorus:
You alone I praise

The Lamb upon the throne
You alone I praise
And make Your glory known
You alone I praise
The keeper of my heart
You alone I praise
Jesus, Lover of my soul

Bridge:
You alone I praise
You alone I praise

Every day begins the same.
A clean slate.
All new choices.
All new decisions.
24 hours to use however you want.
But when they are gone.
You won't get them back.

Life ... (consists of)

SLEEP
...TV...MUSIC...EAT...INSTANT MESSAGING...MALL...SCHOOL...
X-BOX...WORK...HOMEWORK...PHONE...SPORTS

Life can be pretty full.
And can leave you empty.
Every day begins the same.
A clean slate.
All new choices.
All new decisions.
Let the ONE (GOD) who gave them to you
Help you make the right ones.

Isnt it true that most of us fill our time with at least 3 of the activities above.
It's also true that if we want to use our time, we have no lack of stuff to fill it with.
Certainly, there's a time for everything - work, rest and play.
But each time when u look back, will u be glad abt those choices u made?
Will u just remember it as a very packed schedule or a meaningful day?
Time, when they are gone..you will not be able to get it back again.

Lord, teach us to number our days that we may gain a heart of wisdom. Psalm 90:12

My heart says of you, "Seek his face!"
Your face, LORD, I will seek.

Psalm 27:8

I had a sticker with this verse pasted on my notebook.
It showed a man using a telescope searching for God in the vast universe.
One immediate thought that came to my mind is the song "Be Magnified O Lord"

Lately I have been talking to certain individuals.
And very often I go away feeling exhausted mentally.
Because the conversations always surround issues like limitations, difficulties and quitting.
After a while, you get depressed by the sad news.

I can't help but think what do we see when we put on our telescope?
Do we only see our endless problems?
Or do we also see our God?

"I have made you too small in my eyes, O Lord, forgive me.
And I have believed in a lie.
That You were unable to help me
But now O Lord I see my wrong
Heal my heart and show Yourself strong
And in my eyes and with my song
O Lord, be MAGNIFIED.
O Lord, be MAGNIFIED."

Lord help me to magnify You more than my own problems.
Lord remind me that even the worst thing that can happen to me will not fall out of your sovereign control.
