Had sort of a reunion with some old friends today at BLC.
Good to see Ben and Wong again.
I have been talking about visiting for over a few weeks.

I am really happy to see how God is still using Wong to do His ministry.
As long as we learnt to put our talents into good use.
Chosing to use it in a God-pleasing way, it can reap so much fruits.

I also had a good time catching up with Ben.
Was introduced to so many people that mattered to him.
I am happy for him too, to be among a community who loves him so much.

Such "unusual" reunion always cheer me up.
We are all so caught up with our own busy life (or is that an excuse?)
Sometimes it takes extra effort to make time for each other.
And when you do that, you find that it's well worth the effort.

We are so dependent on technology that we are losing the personal touch.
And forgetting how to communicate, how to care for one another.
We became so distant event though tech is supposed to help us connect faster.

I need to change my habit of over-relying on sms and msn.
It's making relationship very superficial.
Once in a while, it's good to just chill out.
Watch a late movie, sip kopi at some cafe, indulge in a late-nite prata.
Or just sitting by the bench in a park and listen to each other.

I am going to make it happen soon.
So excited to catch up with some more friends in the coming week.

Recently sat in a session on decision making.
The speaker make a statement that left a deep impression.
He said.."What we chose reflect what we value".

A sense of guilt swept through me.
Because I know I am not very proud of what I chose.
If it reflect what I value, I rather keep very quiet about it.

Then I had to lead a pep outing.
Was seaching through some web for some inspiration.
And came upon this article that I have read some time back.
Eternal Ink.

It makes me think..real hard this time.

What would my life journal be like?
How much of the ink will stay?
What have I been pursuing after?
Will it lasts?
Have I been very careless with my time, money, possessions, talents?

Maybe we should not just set resolution at the beginning of the year.

Looking at the last date of my posting (omg 11 may?!),
It seems I must have gotten lazy. Again.

What have I been doing the last one month?
Pretty random stuff.

Ordered some tees from Threadless.
Watched some live band performances.
Got a new haircut.
Ate a whole big packet of chips.
Watched "Narnia".
Drank some ribena.
Jogged around the tracks.
Watched "Kungfu Panda".
Ate alot of ice-cream.
Watched "The Happening".
Ate some jelly.
Lost some temper.
Went Sentosa and tried the Luge.
Got myself a house officially.
Went on a shopping spree.
Hugged my nephew.
Ate some chocolate.
Got myself 2 new CDs.
Ate Subway.
Watched TV with my mom.
Sat in meetings.
Ate beef beehoon.

Going off for more ice-cream now...
